In these images, reality is staged into obvious illusions without any use of digital tools. The addition and arrangement of different objects creates alternative versions of well-known images (such as the light from a lamp) that are easy to read – but also easy to see through. Rather than wanting to fool the viewer into believing that what they see is ‘real’, I wish to provide a playful and humorous perspective on how we perceive both landscape and everyday life.
