A series of images that are based on my interest in objects and their significance, as well as a concern with humanity's impact on nature.
The aesthetic is inspired by renaissance still life paintings withs their focus on darkness and light, beauty and death. The project is site-specific and follows certain restrictions: I have chosen a spot in a somewhat natural environment, set up the camera and a black box to act as background, and only then searched the area for suitable objects – venturing no further than a few meters away from the box and camera.
